Wakeboard Tower
An elevated A-frame structure over the boat's cockpit that raises the tow point and provides mounting for board racks, speakers, lights, and a bimini.
A wakeboard tower is the raised metal A-frame arching over a wake boat's cockpit. Its primary function is to provide an elevated attachment point for the tow line; the higher pull gives wakeboarders better lift and air time and a beefier wake. For wakesurfing the high tow point matters less since surfers ride rope-free, but the tower remains a defining feature of wake boats.
Beyond towing, a tower is a secure mounting location for board racks, tower speakers, tower lights, and a bimini top, making it the central hub for a wake boat's accessories.
