Twin Fin
A two-fin setup using outside fins that generates speed and down-the-line drive with plenty of hold, yet still releases for tricks—often compared to riding a skateboard.
The twin fin setup uses two outside fins that help generate speed and make the board fast down the line. It provides the grip and control to stay in the sweet spot of the wake while still letting the rider break the fins free with ease. Riding a twin is often compared to riding a skateboard—fun, with lots of hold, more stable than a single fin but looser than a thruster.
The trade-off is that a twin can feel loose at high speeds, making big, fast turns harder to control. Many 2+1 boards can run as a twin by removing the center fin.
