Cable Parks for Wakeboarding & Wakesurf-Style Riding

53 cable parks across 24 states — boat-free venues where an overhead cable system pulls riders across the water.

Cable parks pull riders across the water with an overhead cable-and-tower system instead of a boat. Because there is no boat and no propeller, they are the most accessible way to learn board-water sports: you pay per session or by the hour, rental gear is on site, and you do not need to own or trailer a wake boat.

A cable park does not throw the displacement wake a wakesurf boat does, so true endless-wave surfing is a boat-only sport. What cable parks do offer is high-repetition time on a board, beginner-friendly run-ups, and features such as kickers and rails. Many wakesurfers and wakeboarders use cable time to build edge control and balance between boat sessions, and complete beginners often start here before ever stepping onto a boat.

The parks below are grouped by state. Each listing links to that venue’s detail page with its nearest city, what it is known for, and the source we drew the record from. Always confirm session times, pricing, and any age or skill requirements with the park directly before you go.
