TAPS

Tige's Trim Adjustable Performance System, an adjustable transom-mounted wave shaper that, combined with the Convex V hull, gives the boat full trim capability and dials in the surf wave on either side.

TAPS (Trim Adjustable Performance System) is Tige's surf-wave control technology. Working hand-in-hand with the Convex V hull, TAPS makes Tige, by the brand's claim, the first and only inboard to feature full trim capability—letting the driver adjust the running attitude of the boat to shape the wave. Modern iterations such as TAPS 3T are fully adjustable, two-sided wave shapers.

TAPS controls the boat's trim and water flow to set wave height, length, and steepness, and pairs with the Convex VX hull-extension device on the swim platform to channel propeller water down into the wave, increasing its size, volume, and density.
